I've tried testing and it does create the object, a process is also left in task manager to show that excel started, I've even tried adding a half second inkey() just incase it's an excel not finished loading properly thing. but still I get the crashing. thanks though. oh and hey I was in bulgaria just a couple of weeks ago doing a bit of snowboarding.
