Maybe I don't remember this correctly, but doesn't VFP also store the VCX/VCT and SCX/SCT files in Source Safe? This actually results in more storage space usage, not less.

>Then you're losing some of the capabilities of source control. VFP is slow because it converts to/from the text file when you check in/out. If you don't do it through VFP you check in/out the binary files, which greatly increases your storage space. With text files, VSS & PVCS both store just the delta code.
