Hi Borislav,
Next time it will happen to you just hit the Update button :)
>>yep still getting exception errors, is it just something that comes as standard if you expect to automate anything microsoft? I don't suppose anyone is currently automating excel simply opening updating and printing a sheet and getting stability? if so please talk to me. I actually get the full fox crashing exception error from the second line below, not often, maybe only 1 in 100 times the system runs through but when we run it a few hundred times day this having to restart a server based program is a big annoyance.
>>
>>oExcel = CreateObject("Excel.Application")
>>oWorkbook = oExcel.workbooks.open(alltrim(basevars.baseljb) + "LaserJobbag.xls")
>>
>>it's not some, "oh that file is busy" or "well actually oExcel is not an object" error, it's a fatal exception everything is dead jobbie.
>>
>>again I know I've bugged you all on automating excel before but any help would be appriciated.
>>
>>Oh and it's officexp with all the service packs and whatnot installed.
>>
>>Ken.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
