When I select an entire row and delete it, the next row moves up, as it should.

But when I select an entire row, and then cut and paste, it will (a) overwrite the previous content of the destination, (b) leave the source row empty. So, AFAIK, I have to (a) insert a row in the destination, (b) cut and paste, (c) delete the source row.

Does anyone know of a faster - and more logical - way to handle this?
