>Using the foxpro 3.0 report writer in windows 3.1 I have configured a report to print in DRAFT mode. The printer is an Okidata 393.
>However, the reports actually print in LETTER QUALITY MODE. When i use other windows programs like NOTEPAD to print stuff the printer always goes into the correct mode. Is the report sending the wrong "signals" to the printer.

Hmm... generally it is controlled by the printer driver... ie.. report form to printer prompt...
Go to the options and set it to draft.. then OK the print...
If this doesn't work... a nice tirck to speed up Dot Matrix Printing via windows is to bypass the windows print driver...
create the report TO FILE ASCII ... The copy the file to lpt1:...
