We are hosting an application on Terminal Server which sends outgoing emails through MAPI. We don't want to give all of our users incoming email capability, but we need to give them outgoing email. Outlook and Outlook Express will not allow you to configure an account without configuring an incoming (POP3) server.

We need a client that will allow us to do this (or a hack that will allow us to do this with Outlook/OE. We do rely on MAPI's ability to use the client software to edit the email before sending, so simply having a library that translates the MAPI call to SMTP is not quite good enough.
