C-Omega, formerly called Xen and before that X#, is a research project only and there are no plans to make it a formal .NET language integrated with Visual Studio. So if anyone plays with C-Omega, it is for fun or experimental only and it wouldn't be for deploying serious applications. The VB.NET and C# teams are working together to add more data-centric language functionality to those languages in the future.
