Thanks for your quick reply and I will also check out your code against mine and update it accordingly. But one thing I had done was I was getting this string from a dbf like this:

poFiler.FileExpression = ALLTRIM(VSOProfiles.FileSkel)

I am currently working on a Snap-Shot based remote File Sync program, which I am glad to say it working quite well though not totally bugfree. I can send you a copy if you are interested.
