Another think I could think of ;
do you set path to location where bitmap is ?

Usualy I put all my project subdirectories in path with

set path to data;include;forms;GRAPHICS;help;LIBS;menus;progs;reports

And all files needed for compiling an exe file are found along that path.

If mentioned file is somewhere outside project tree
then u issue

set path to ....\OtherPicsDir additive
