Now you say that you don't want the cursor to be at this position. As I said, you didn't say that this was a problem- merely that it happens. :-)

Now, as I read this note from you, it says to me that, when not in edit mode, you don't want the cursor to go to the beginning of the editbox? As I hinted in my first reply, you don't say whether you've made the actual editbox disabled, or the column, or the grid for that matter, or the underlying table. Have you tried any of these?

I start typing text in the middle of editbox (I watch sel start property in debugger and it it ok, edtbox.selstart > 0) but cursor moves the beginnig of the editbox when I set Thisform.pgf1.Page1.enable =.F. ? I can't figure out what causes this? When I set change column.sparse = .t. the editbox cursor position doesn't change.
