Now Dave....much our workday (when/what) is mandated by the Feds. With some small flexibility, our standard day is 8-5. Overtime MUST be approved ahead of time (Unless it's a production problem) and any time over 8 hours in one day is overtime. That is by law, also, by law, the employees must get 15 minutes of breaktime for every 4 hours work. Now I don't know where your Bro-in-Law works, but I know that around here 95% of our government at works actually WORKS.
