The application accesses a single dbc, which contains remote views and a single connection definition - no stored procedures or .dbfs.
Now each user has their own local copy of the dbc (and also a local copy of the .exe that uses the .dbc), nothing can be shared (can it?), which makes the occurrence of error 1709 all the more strange. I have checked that all views use a shared connection - should I 'unshare' the connection? If so, would this not result in longer access to the backend data? The connection name is the same for all views.
Any further ideas would be appreciated.
