Hi! im using mssql7 and my os is windows 98. I installed it locally. im using vfp for my dbase programming and stored my data in sql. i connect to sql using the system dsn in odbc and used tcp/ip.

i still did not solved it... i tried to intall mdac 7.8 but it doesnt work. i also tried to reistall mssql but the problem is same.. i can connect remotely to other sqlserver , if i connect locally i will get the preloginhandshake.
