Thanks again for the tip ..this works great.
One more question ... do you know a way of programmatically disconnect and connect the NetDrive ? The problem that I am having is that whenever new file is posted to the ftp site the netdrive does not automatically recoginzed it which also causes my VFP based routine that puts all file names into an array to behave incorrectly.
What I have to do is manually re-connect the netdrive in order to see the new files.
