I have done regular technical sessions like in Frankfurt and Sydney in the past few months, and I did show things saying "Hey, this is cool..." during demos. In recent years, I try to do presentations and demos that are more clear and understanding to the entire audience rather than on cool technical things that sometimes are a bit random or fast like I did years ago. If I talk slower or more serious, it is because I'm focused on clarity and it doesn't mean I am less enthusiastic. :)
