I downloaded, built and ran it. If this is how the system is set-up then I may be able to help. Did you realise that InteractiveChange event occurs with EVERY user interaction? i.e. every key stroke takes you back to the beginning. I commented out the code in the IC event and the editbox let me type wherever.
If, when editing in the edit box, you want to disable page 1 (quite sensibly) then you can't have this in the IC event - it'll happen every keystroke. You want en EDIT button, or some such, that will enable the grid for editing AND disable page 1. SAVE button reverses this.
