You can choose/decide the number of rows(lines of text) that you want the report to print on a page based on the font size and line spacing. So doesn't matter what the user selects.

For Example:
For Student A,B,C the user selectd the following records:
Info
a1
a2
a3
a4
a5
b1
c1
c2
You decide to print 3 lines of text on a page.
Info Page(print on this page)
a1 1
a2 1
a3 1
a4 2
a5 2
b1 2
c1 3
c2 3
So for student A you have 5 lines of info, but only three will be printed on first page the rest on the next page. You can create a group band based on the page field. In the group header you can print student name etc.

So doesn't matter what the user chooses, once you decide to print the maximum lines of text on a page, then you can mark or assign the records to each page by marking page field accordingly.

Hope this helps.
