Good afternoon!

I am trying to create a form in OutLook which will be used as a Purchase Requisition. What I would like to happen is that all users will use this form as an Electronic Purchase Requisition. The user fills in the details and then clicks the send button. The form is sent via e-mail to the buyer and is saved to an SQL database at the same time.

I had no problems creating the form or formatting it (that's the easy part). Sending the form via e-mail is not a problem since the form was created from a mail message template form. Saving the contents to the SQL database is not an issue at this point... since I can enter code in the MessageSent event of Outlook to save the contents of the form before sending it.

My problem is when the user opens the form. I have several drop down list which needs to be populated when the form is loaded... and this is where i seem to be having problems!!! How do I retrieve the data from the database? The vb editor of the form is just like note pad. It's just plane text!!! When I enter a period after an object I do not get a list of properties... i can live with that!

What I can't figure out is how to set reference to ADO from within the script?!!

Any ideas on this?

I need Heeelllppp!!!

Martin
Shit happens!!!
