Hi,

does anyone around here remember how to use DBASE? I've got a client with a 20 year old DBASE DOS system (they say it's version V, but I think it may be IV), that they want some bug fixes done to. Then they want to compile it and send it off to a remote site without the source code.

Fixing the bugs I should be able to handle (once I work out how the debugger works as I couldn't see the code when I SET STEP ON in the code).

How do I compile it into an executable? Is there a project like in VFP or do I have to do some linking and then compiling?

Is there a screen designer? Or just these .FMT files?

Any web site that I can go to for support?

Thanks for any and all help.
Frank.
