Yes, I use a startup.prg in both VFP 7 and VFP 8. They are identical but separate prgs in the respective HOME() directories of the 2 versions. In 7, the settings get changed between sessions, in 8 they don't.

Tried your breakpoint suggestion but it didn't fire.
