The only time I've seen this happen with our application is when there was some kind of network interruption (even a millisecond) between the workstation and the data on the server. I believe that causes VFP to "lose its place" in the file when the connection is re-established.

I don't know if this is what's happening in your scenario, but you might want to make sure that the network connection on that specific machine is ok - maybe even analyze the network traffic from it to see if there are any drops.
