Hi Venelina,

Just out of curiosity. How does the activation schema works on an application with multiple users on a network.

I suppose the main application is installed on the fileserver and VFP runtimes on the workstations with shortcuts pointing to the application.

So when the program starts it will notice a different hardware and it will request for an activation key.

Since the activation related info in stored on the ini file at the windows directory is possible to issue several installation keys one for each workstation.

So we will need 2 setup programs, one for the server that will install the application and one for the workstations that will install the VFP run times and the firstinstall file.

is this correct, I don’t have a network to run tests.

Thanks.

Bernardo
