From when I lived in Rio I remember carnival for the wild costumes, endless parades, beautiful music, gorgeous women, and the general feeling the whole city was in permanent party mode and the normal rules of behavior were simply suspended for the duration. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I was too young to enjoy the beer and wild sex part of it at that time, but it was still an amazing event. Enjoy!
