I think you have a confusion with terms. If you say Windows CE you must mean PDA. A tablet PC runs on XP or on a special TabletPC version of XP. VFP runs fine there and with some extensions as detailed elsewhere in this thread it works well with ink software.

A PDA, on the other hand is a different device (generally known in the WinCE world as Pocket PC). VFP does not have runtimes for PPC/WinCE. You can use VFP data and you can access it online through web services. Or you can use a smaller version of SQL server or Access to get the data there.

You can write apps using the .Net Compact Framework, or you can use the old embedded C++ or eVB (more like scripting languages though). Or you can use other software like AppForge for example.
