Yes, understood. I do see what you would have liked to happen. It is a nice ER, but it is not a bug. The engine completely ignores the CommandClauses contents, ordinarily. The only time it does not is (as documented) when you print from preview.

The reason I say that it is a nice ER to do this : I see this as a similar type of thing to print from preview, it happens outside the timeframe of the report's internal processing. So it is potentially possible.

Meanwhile, the readwrite capability of (all) the CommandClauses members can be useful.
