Is SoItems is DBF table contained in the DB, or this is a View or CA based on some table?
Did the following removes the problem?
In Init of the form:
SELECT SoItems
CURSORSETPROP("FetchSize",-1,"SoItem") && VFP Must Rise an error if this is a table
....
Check also SET REFRESH in HELP to see if this will help to You
