Do it with VFP.
We had order from P&G UK to move their old FP2.6 PO system to VB.Net but to keep DBFs, because some of other modules still work with them. We have a lot of problems during development and after that. In the end they agreed we to move everything in .Net and to change DB
What you will do is your own problem. Just friendly advice. MS .Net advertising push many people to make stupid decisions moving their Foxpro systems to .Net
