>(1) Is it possible to have 6 databases, each with many tables, open and running as part of one project? As I understand, only one db can be open at one time.

>(2) Is it possible to have running, more than one executable and each executable exchanging information with the other?

Hilmar answered your first question. But for your second question, check out Shared Context Object at http://www.GLRsoftware.com/download.asp#SharedContext.zip

It allows seperate running executables share the same variables. When one executable changes the value of the variable, all executable can update their evironment to the new value automatically.
