you are right, the Insert works

INSERT INTO Vendor_edi_wires_work_orders_tmp SELECT * FROM wires_work_orders

I have set multilocks on and
=CursorSetProp("Buffering", 5, "Vendor_edi_wires_work_orders_tmp")

but the line after the INSERT, I issue commmand =Tableupdate() which gives error Function requires rom or table buffering

I thought =CursorSetProp("Buffering", 5, would set that to table buffering?

I did look (many times)at the help for Insert SQl and cusrsorsetprop


Obviously I am CLOSE, but I am still doing something wrong.
