If we all wrote off respective advantage in that fashion, it would be impossible to compare anything. ;-)
I am telling you that some of the stuff I have to do would be ridiculous in ADO.NET. We tried. I don't "prefer" VFP for its own sake, I use it because it's 25-year-old cursor technology does what I need without optimization trick-shots. It just does the job. Just as Boeing's 25-year-old technology gets me across the Atlantic safely. Nothing wrong with "old reliable". ;-)
