Well, not all close games are 'exciting'. It may mean that nothing big happened. There really was no big plays, unless you count turn overs by McNab as exciting. Best thing about this SB was that Terrell Ownes was able to recover enough to play.

I think if you go back to the early 90's, Cowboys and the 49er's (and you can mix the Packers in there as well) you'll see games that were of full of big plays and big names. Of course those were played in another time, in another era.
