Terry, did you ask for the benefit of the delegate-returnvalue?
In our projects, we use the bindevent-Flag 1 to couple independent modules. One module sends a request to get something done, another module offers the service to do it, both modules don't need to know anything from one another.
But the returnvalue of the service-module is essential for the requesting module: has the request been accomplished or not, and if not, whats the status of it?
If this behaviour of the VFP9-Final remains and we want to go for VFP9 we would have to change every request from a simple evaluation of the returnvalue to a parameter-object which will contain the result.
