I have a mapping application that is based on an ActiveX control(MapObjects). In order to print the map you have to have a handle to an Hdc. I have about 6 forms that print maps. Each of these forms is created with the windows GDI API. It really creates a professional looking form however it is a pain to maintain because all of the printed text is buried in the code. If you want to make any changes to the forms you have to recompile the apllication. Each of one the forms has check boxes on them and if the box is checked the text associated with it is printed on the form. Some of these forms require duplex printing. I am looking for any suggestions that you may have to make this easier to update. Would restructuring the app into smaller exe's that do the printing help? Thank you in advance
