I absolutely still use it. Doug is still supporting and modifying it with each release of VFP as necessary. I do not think he has had to issue a new release for VFP9 since there is nothing in VFP9 that would break his product that I can think of. Of course he would know better than me on this point.

I have seemlessly incorporated 3 functions into all my apps that use native data - reindexing tables, repairing tables, and updating the database with any changes I have made since the last version. Because of the metadata SDT uses, the indexes can be recreated using the meta data by using the INDEX ON command instead of just using the REINDEX command. No more broken views when you make a structural change to a table.

There are other utilities available to repair tables, but there is nothing else that I have found that bundles all this functionality into one product.

>We are considering purchasing SDT and I would like to know if it is still supported to the same extent it always has been, if anyone out there is using it any pros and cons, and also if there are any comparable products. If we purchase it, we will purchase 1 license per developer of course and I will need to write up a justification for the purchase (necessity, benefits, cost, why we chose it over other comparable tools, etc).
