See http://support.microsoft.com/?id=163801. The error you describe can happen if there is a syntax error in the DOS environment variable PATH. I have seen this occur when the path contains something like c\windows rather than c:\windows.

>I installed my application on Win98 whit the same Setup that is used for many of our customers. On that computer when I start the EXE an error occurs "Invalid Path or filename", after click Cancel "C0...5" error occurs. Everything looks like well all VFP DLLs are in Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VFP, GDIPLUS is also there, there is no other VFP DLLs on that computer. I wonder what could cause this error. I have some utilities writen with VFP that not used any tables/DBC when I start them I also have this error.
>I format the disk. Install WinXP, install my applciation and everithing works. Today my client call me The same error occurs????
