Well gang, I reseated my memory chips (just 2 of them) and the machine seems to be running much better. It only crashed once this weekend, but I wasn't on it that much, either. If the problem resurfaces, I've been advised to switch them (top to bottom) and even take them to a place with a SIMM tester. I'll keep you posted.
