Although I don't know how to get around your issue, the reason for the failure is that the IWAM / IUSR account is launched via the web service. By not being "logged in" and forcing the actual drive mapping to your "Y:" drive, it can't see it and thus is failing...

I'd be interested in knowing of a solution to this issue too...
