Perhaps you should come over and find your Norwegian roots..

Aune is pronounced as
A as in After
U as in TrUe
N as in Nancy
E as in Empty

>Heh. It was a silly question. My birth mother was (is?) Norwegian, and I know her last name was Aune. I've been long fascinated by how it's pronounced. A Norwegian acquaintance tried to teach me once, but I was horrible at it, and so I made him call my answering machine so I'd have it on record. Amazing how complex such a simple name is. <g> Anyway, sorry for the digression.
