>We currently use MereMortals VFP framework and are planning on purchasing MM.Net framework. Does anyone know of any other products comparable to this one that we can look at? I tried typing '.Net framework' into google but you can probably imagine the results.

There is a framework known as CSLA. You can find info on it at www.lhotka.net. There's a support forum at http://groups.msn.com/CSLANET. The only cost is to purchase the book (you can buy at Amazon), and I think you don't even have to do that. I don't know how it compares to MM, since I don't own that. I've learned a great deal about .Net in reading the book (after developing a general understanding of .Net prior). There's not much in the way of RAD tools for creating the UI, however.

I do have a copy of Deklarit (http://www.deklarit.com) that I won at a user group meeting. I didn't like it because it wants to make backend changes for you. I couldn't figure out how to create an app and have a development environment separate from a production environment. I didn't find their support to be all that helpful when I asked questions, either.

I don't own it, but I've been impressed with the demos for the IronSpeed designer (www.ironspeed.com). You can view the demos on the website. This tool appears to only be for web apps, however. If this tool did both web apps and windows forms apps, I'd probably have already bought it at this point.

Nothing I've seen yet seems to compare to the productivity we know with using one of the VFP frameworks. Ironspeed may come close, but again, it's for web apps.
