This maybe a FAQ but I haven't been able to find the answer. I want to send pass several variables to an exe. Based on the value of the variables I want to change the form's caption, number of command buttons visible and change the caption of some labels. I can see how to pass variable to a form from within VB but how do you pass the variables from outside of VB.

retval = myapp "You've done it now", 1, "Forget get dude", "Your Hosed"

I'm looking for a return value for the one command button active. The fom's caption would be "You've done it now".

The big thing is catching and references the values passed. I know how to do this in Foxpro but I do not see a parameter key word in VB5.

Just point me to an example of passing two or more variables/values and I can get it from there (I hope).
