Being French myself, I would never use 'Notation' for login. Notation is a noun that translates to notation in English which means "data representation", which doesn't really mean "login", I would go with "ouverture de session" and if you need to shorten it just use "ouverture".
BTW in French "ouverture" is unrelated to musical pieces, or ballet.
