Tracy,

When you start using SDT and you want me to share how I do database updates with it, please let me know. I will be glad to share.

>We have used Foxfix with virtually no problems until we started using the autoinc field in VFP8. The latest version 5.2 of Foxfix resolves that problem though. We are currently looking into creating a more robust means of updating table structures in the field for our apps that use VFP tables. Right now we code the table updates ourselves with every update and a faster and more streamlined means of doing this would be great. That is the primary reason we are looking into purchasing SDT. The apps that use SQL as a backend will be handled differently. Right now we are definitely purchasing SDT - all that remains is for us to write up the justification (always a necessity when the parent company is a large corporation) :o)

>>>>>We are considering purchasing SDT and I would like to know if it is still supported to the same extent it always has been, if anyone out there is using it any pros and cons, and also if there are any comparable products. If we purchase it, we will purchase 1 license per developer of course and I will need to write up a justification for the purchase (necessity, benefits, cost, why we chose it over other comparable tools, etc).
