If you're using an udf() to translate texts, you can just open your mnx file, and replace the visible strings with the calls to your functions. Haven't done that myself, because my menus were data driven for the last 15 years, but I figure after some fiddling with it, you could have the genemnenu(or x) generate a line with

...prompt mytranslate("About this app")

back to same old
