Acctually, I am building a Authentication Code generator and validator. The unique ID is used to uniquely identify the machine when generating the code. Therefore, when validated, it will validate true only on a single machine. The user could not pass the code around, to allow other to use.

Also, it must be availiable and accessible from Win98 and greater machines.
