Peter,

Sounds like you are conditionally running code that is altering the current workarea.

You can make sure to always restore it correctly or always reference teh column with a table alias ala TheTable.incrmntas.

In the prior line of code we check to make sure it is open. In the same method (before the error occurs), we execute a seek and then an RLOCK on the same table. In the debugger the column is, of course, visible, and if we Set Next Statement back to the line that errors, it executes normally.
