Hi Martin,

XML can really do accomodate images. It just happen that I don't know how. Anyway the real problem why I asked the question about XML is because Im looking for an alternative to replace Rich Text Format Files.

I created a form that can insert images into a richtextbox control and later save it to a rich text format file. If there are images embedded on the file, the file size gets too big. I tried to open the saved file in MS Word and saved it as XML file, the result is from 15 MB to 386 KB xml file document.

The size of the image that I inserted in the file is about 200 kb but when it was saved as .RTF it became 15 MB. Is there a way on how to retain the original size of the image after it was inserted in the RTF File? Or do you have any other suggestion on how I can accomplish the same thing without sacrificing too much of my Disk Space?

Thanks in advance...
