Good for you. I bet you didn't used xBase syntax to talk to the SQL Server. If you did it, then I can understand why you don't care about scalability.Are SQLCONNECT and SQLEXEC xBase? One passthrough yields a cursor don't "you" usually xbase the cursor?
All in all, my point is: xBase is dead as a data access mechanism, although it still can play well some tiers (tipically on the user interface and parts of the domain logic).Then why are all the NET guys talking about using VFP COMS to service data?
