I have a grid with fields from two tables, a parent and a child. The grid display seems to work the same as the browse command so that the second record in the child table is displayed with asterisks showing in the parent table fields. I only need one field to show from the child table and the user has requested blanks in the parent table fields instead of asterisks - they think the asterisks are confusing. They do want the field in the grid rather than elsewhere on the form.

The browse command documentation states:

The fill character for repeated parent information depends on the current Browse window font.

I have been unable to find how to change this to something which will proudce a different fill character.


Any ideas?
