I have been "playing" with .NET since it came out, but only in the last month found an app that will really get me going. (See

My plan is:
- Work though most of the book listed to get me started.
- Follow up with a different book that explains things in more detail as I work though building my learning application. I've already purchased this book.
http://www.apress.com/book/bookDisplay.html?bID=384- Once done, pull the same application apart and develop it using tiers. This will include building a framework. This book looks interesting
http://www.apress.com/book/bookDisplay.html?bID=279- Once the ASP.NET application is done, get a book on WinForms and write the same application there
- After WinForms, move to Web Services where the web app and Windows app use the same database on a web server
That should keep me busy for several months.
>It looks more and more like I need to add .NET to my list of programming tools. For those of you who have already done this or are in the process, what would you do differently and what is your advice for someone who is just starting?
