More complicated up front and then easier ???

I think that I mentioned this before but I'll do it again. No doubt in my mind that I'll switch to .Net eventually but for now I don't see what would justify the move.

I Already have easy with VFP. Why would I want to move to a tool that will make my life more complicated but with a possibility to become easier.

That's what I meant when I said "a step backward"

So until they FIX things up with data-processing in .Net I'll continue using the tool that proves so far to give me the best apps for my needs. Excuse me not for my needs but for the needs of my clients.

If I moved to .Net right now I have the feeling it would only be for the sake of moving and nothing else. No advantages I can think of.

So until the official move I'll be watching what improvements are going on in the .Net world
